PLBW Update
27-10-2020

PLBW has a long history and from time to time improvements to its structure are made.
The current model PLBW is supplied with a stainless steel bolt assembly, including a rotatable 19mm diameter solid stainless steel bar that extends around 65mm beyond the fore end of the body housing to lock into a locking post or door jamb.

A variety of different padlocks may be used to operate a PLBW.   When locked with a suitable padlock, the padlock shackle is protected by a guard and the padlock is also employed to drive the bolt to an "open" position.
The bolt assembly includes a facility to enable the bolt to be locked in an open position.
The footprint of PLBW is much the same and the body housing continues to be supplied with a hot dip galvanised coating.
Floor sockets and keeper plates continue to be available as optional ancillary products.
